Tenstreet is the leading SaaS company in transportation. I had the opportunity to watch it grow from 22 people to 252 in just a decade. I grew with it, starting the marketing department at year three, and adding new dimensions and people until I was eventually leading a team of six responsible for digital demand, email marketing, content development, advertising, social media, website development, and more. I enjoyed this as it satisfied creative and analytical, as well as helping people grow.
As a team of 6 supporting a team of 60 sales people, our team worked prolifically to design and write copy for blogs, website pages, email nurtures, case studies, eBooks, product pages, slide presentations, ads, social posts, press releases, and more. Often these components were strategically woven together as part of a campaign and other times were ad hoc requests made to support sales and the brand. Topics spanned 50 services in 7 distinct solutions categories.
TPS is the largest school district in the State of Oklahoma serving nearly 34,000 students at 77 schools. Here too I was entrusted and blessed to develop something that previously did not exist. For my six years here, I taught state- and extra-curriculum to gifted and talented K-5 students at Eisenhower International School. It was a dream, but unfortunately, it put me into debt.
Responsible for complete program development, including program outline, student identification, classroom teacher support, and planning and teaching challenging, higher-level thematic units in our enrichment classroom.
Started a school-wide Chess Team, supporting players in OSCO tournaments and helping to organize the annual district elementary chess tournaments each year.
Chaperoned two exchanges solely responsible for twelve students in Amiens, France, and San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
My first two roles out of college were both at software companies, having majored in Management Information Systems at the University of Oklahoma. While I had very supportive managers in these positions and am so grateful for the experiences, my heart just wasn't in it. They both provided exposure to business and teamwork in a way college could never and I fondly thank them for it.
As a programmer at York, I helped design and develop a new HVAC order-processing sales tool for the sales team.
At FileNET, I provided in-depth technical support for clients experiencing software functionality, configuration, installation, and basic performance issues.
